MISSIONS
“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:18-20
Ministry and Mission are the work of the church, and we equip disciples for that work through our 101 Fellowship, 201 Discipleship, 301 Ministry and 401 Missions classes.
Our church mission statement is LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, SERVE THE WORLD.
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;” Ephesians 4:11-13

Contact Pastor Mark for more info at 607-215-1624 or paumcme@aol.com. Visit the borderbuddies.org website. Each year, in September/October, we begin forming a team that goes on a Border Buddies Short-Term Construction Mission Trip to Tegucigalpa, Honduras for 10 days of work, laughter, good food and God-moments as we interface with children, adults, teachers and construction volunteers. It is simply an amazing, life-changing experience.
In October, a team of 18 doctors, health professionals, and support staff went to Honduras to bring medical care to the people of Tegucigalpa. We stayed with Mike and Glenda Miller, of Border Buddies Ministries. Over 10 days, we treated over 1400 patients, and provided medications to most of them. Dr Bob Armstrong, Gayle Oldenbusch, MSPT, and Pastor Mark Erway were from our church. The people we worked with are poor, and cannot afford good medical care or prescription medicine. They rely on medical teams like ours to meet their needs. We worshiped together, met with our sponsored kids, and loved on the families with which we worked.
