Lifetree Café is coming to the Fresh Start Corner beginning October 6! Lifetree Café is a comfortable place and time for people to gather every week to explore life and faith. It’s the kind of place where you’d meet a friend for food and drink and fun. Where the atmosphere encourages conversations, questions, and personal stories. And the conversations about life lead to seeing God’s presence and love.

The hour-long Lifetree Cafe experiences feature real  stories of real people, guided conversation, biblical insights, time to build relationships with old and new friends, laughter, and opportunities to serve. As we explore these stories, Lifetree friends discover God is active today and looking for a close relationship with them.  AND…there is a place for everyone to serve!  Be sure to indicate on the ‘I’m Interested!’  card how you would like to be involved. For EVERYONE who will be a part, there will be a very important information and training meeting — Monday, September 15th at 6:30pm in the Fresh Start office. Please mark your calendars and plan on attending…this is where you will learn about the various roles in Lifetree Cafe and how to create God-space, what to say and what not to say, so that our friends can

A VBA Prayer Walk will be held next Sunday, July 20. Meet in the PAUMC parking lot at 12:30 pm for a group prayer, assignments and maps. We will be out in the community distributing VBS flyers and praying for kids and families that we can reach out to through our Vacation Bible Adventure.  We will work in pairs so bring a buddy! Please indicate if you plan to join us on the Let ‘s Connect Card.

ATTENTION: ALL VBS VOLUNTEERS! Please plan on attending the VBS General Meeting MONDAY, JUNE 23rd 6:30-pm at the Pine City campus . This one-and-only meeting is for all ‘Weird and Wonderful’ helpers who will be involved in any one of our church’s Weird Animals: Vacation Bible  Adventures’ which will be held July 10-12 in Big Flats Community Park; July 24-26 at Brand Park in Elmira; and July 31-Aug 2 at Chapel Park in Pine City. Team assignments, training, security and fun surprises will be covered! Mark your calendars!

Faithbuilders, our program for kids, includes nursery and groups of all ages.   Each week we have praise music, prayer, Bible Story, life applications, crafts and a time for FUN! We are very excited to be offering a new group just for our youth!  If you love Jesus, kids and fun…if you want to make an eternal difference in young lives, indicate your interest on the Let’s Connect Card and specify which age group you most enjoy working with. You will be contacted for training, including security clearance, and an opportunity to shadow a Faithbuilders leader to see what Faithbuilders is all about. Will you help us build children of unshakeable faith one block at a time?

ALPHA is a 10 week study of the basics of Christianity and answers many questions that people have about their faith, even if they have been Christians for many years. It will help you answer some tough questions like: What is the meaning of life? What happens when we die? Who is the Holy Spirit? How do I deal with guilt? The ALPHA preview dinner will be held on Tuesday, January 28th at 6pm at the Fresh Start Corner office. There is no commitment required to attend the preview session. Dinner will be provided by ALPHA alumnae. Come and see why so many people say that ALPHA is life-changing!
